Can anybody tell my why my cable internet connectivity fails only after a rain storm. No lightning, just rain, and now no cable. And is there any way to prevent this from happening? What do corpotations do to prevent this?

ISP = Brighthouse Networks

There i stood in the park, thinking and watching as the frisbee grew bigger . . . then it hit me . . .

It sounds as if what is happening the rain is getting in at a connection somewhere along the route, check any splices that you may see just outside the house, there should be a splice with a ground wire coming out of it, tighten
the connectors back up if that is the case otherwise your provider would need to send out a tech and scan the feed with an O.T.D.R. in order to find the fault, if I were you and couldnt find the problem right away I would put it in there lap.........

Keep the old stuff running
