I have broadband internet and a network adapter that works through the power sockets. The internet is so slow (2-5kbps download speed). I know the router its connected to works just fine because i have a second computer connect directly with 250kbps download speed. Does anyone know what the problem could be? THANK YOU

That would only leave the power plug network adapters as the source of the slowness.
To confirm move the 2nd pc to be off the router also and see if you get the same 250kbps as the other pc.
If network plugs are the problem consider running a cat5 network wire or going wireless.

It's obviously the power socket adapters. Could be interference, or the adapters themselves. Regardless, just to verify.. Switch the power adapters (Both of them) to different outlets and see if there's any change. Also, try using them with another computer and see if you get the same issue.
