Ok I have this tut on how to Bridge Your Xbox To The Internet Through Your PC. Basically you need to have 2 network connection, one for xbox and one for PC.
I am on a router and from my understanding you need to have a cat5 cable going from your modem to pc and then pc to xbox.
So then basically you will have 2 network connections, one for xbox and one for PC. My problem is I am on the router and cant figure out how to get this to work. When I get 2 connection I am to bridge them together.
Can someone please tell me what i need to bridge the 2 connection and actual make it so there is 2 connections.

You're mixing tutorials.
If using your pc as a router then you have two nics with one to the xbox and one to the internet. Engage ICS [internet connection sharing] and thats it.
With a router you don't have to do the above. Just direct connect the xbox to one of the routers switch ports and the pc to another. Your router should have 4 switch ports.
If it doesn't have 4 switch ports than that is a MODEM not a router [it comes before the router to connect your internet cable/dsl] and you will have to do the above with ICS.
Google ICS and lots of tutorials will come up. You may need a crossover cable from the xbox to the pcs nic since this is nic to nic without a hub/switch connection.

Can somebody give me step by step on how to do it, my AIM is HomelandAliance, and MSN Messenger is RSportster13@hotmail.com
please, i need help

I have a wireless conenction from my pc. To the router to my dads room. In my dads room the router is connected to his modem and his pc. And there is a ehternet cord from the last port to my xbox. How do i make it so i get the host on xbox live everytime. So i can standby the whole game against modders. I am just fed up wit modders.
