Solved Boyfriend built-in Wireless antenna stopped working

May 22, 2014 at 08:16:29
Specs: Windows 8, Intel 3.4 (?)/ 6gB
My boyfriend's computer has a built-in wireless antenna that suddenly stopped working. My computer (PC 1) is plugged into my router via a wired connection. Also on the router are the Blu-ray player (wired) and my tablet (wireless). The other computer (PC 2) was connected via the wireless antenna. Up until this week, it has worked fine (maybe 6 weeks). One night we went to bed ad it worked, the next morning, no. It says it can't find a network to connect to. What or who do I need to do/see to fix this?

Things to try:

1) Ensure it has the most recent drivers available.

if that doesn't fix the issue:

2) Uninstall the device from Control Panel and reboot and let windows "find" and install the device again.

If neither of the above works, you may have a bad card and will have to replace it. If it's only 6 weeks old, grab the receipt and take it back where you bought it and have them replace it.

I am the captain of my soul.
