Boot-up question with network

I have two PC's and a NAS drive on my home network. About two weeks ago, I started running into this problem:
Whichever machine is turned on first boots up very quickly. Whichever machine is turned on second sits at the "Welcome" screen for 5-10 minutes before it finishes booting up.
I suspect some type of networking issue since the same problem happens on both machines.

If you map a drive to the NAS, try unmapping the drive on both PC's and then booting. It may be that the mapping is somehow causing the problem. I recently had a similar situation with a Buffalo Linkstation NAS -- the NAS was defective.
