Blocking Ping On Actiontec GT701-WG

Does anyone know how to block pings on a Actiontec GT701-WG router?

if the router does not have the option in the administration then you can, from what i know

unless of course their is a firmware available that has the option

You could always talk to the manufacturer:

For their FAQ. This is a NAT firewall so unless Port 80 has been configured "open" by Qwest an ICMP magic packet ("ping") from outside the LAN would fail. Have you tried pinging your IP address from someone else's PC, not part of your LAN?

Actually, I just did grc.com's free port scan and security test, It said that my IP responded to a ping. (and it detected my IP correctly, I checked that)
