Dear All,

Thanks in advance,
In our workgroup i want to block internet in some xp machines.I gave static ip in those machines, but the users changed the setting to obtain automatic ip.So now they are using the internet. What are the other settings we can do to block internet from the those machines. Pls tell me all ways to do this including any registry settings

You don't really have any control over other PCs from your PC on a workgroup, this is one reason why Domain name networks were developed. If you can access the router then instead of blocking certain IPs or ranges of IPs you shoud be able to allow only the PCs with the static IPs to access the internet.

And remove the users from the Admin group so that they can't change the IP configuration.
