Best wireless Channle?

I am having some problems with my wireless connection. It seams to just randomly drop the connection. usally when I am not in the room yet I will have downloads going.
my signle is always atleast Good and normaly very Good.
Any ideas why it could be disconnecting? When it works the connection is fast I transfer large files over my home network all the time.

Yes cordless phones but I am normaly on the computer at night and the connection still drops lots.
There is alot of wireless traffic in my area. I used net stumbler and found about 10 signles (5 of witch I can connect to) But most are on the default channles 6
