G'Day All,
I would like to network a home desktop PC and a laptop (both win98. I use the laptop both at work and at home. The laptop contains a network card (SURECOM EP-428X 32-bit 100/10M Cardbus PC card) to access the network/internet at work. The laptop does not have modem.
My home desktop PC is used to access the internet via its modem. What is the best network option, to enable both machines at home to: access the internet, access the same printer, transfer of large files, etc.
Ideally, I don't want to change the "Company's" Laptop network settings. Should I use USB connection? Or are there better alternatives. Please advice which software or hardware I require.
