What is the best software to use to monitor the network from a desktop so that I dont have to check every PC to see if their down. I would prefer something from Microsoft but at this point I am almost despreat.

most of the PC in the building if they go down, would be before someone using them comes in. I could then fix the problem and it would be a seemless production.

You have two options...

1. Write script to ping every workstation. or
2. Use Karen's LAN Monitor
