Comment: I have a BT Home Hub downstairs connected by ethernet card and cable and works fine. I am trying to connect my sons computer upstairs by using a Belkin USB network adaptor (High Speed). I can load the Belkin software and it finds the BT Home Hub but I can't for the life of me get it to connect, the little Belkin telephone stays red, please help? Annoying thing is I have had it working previously. Plain english please as not too IT minded Thanks Pete

Reply: (edit)Connect to what? Internet? USB connector, wireless or wired? Nothing in this post except that you have a issue. Knowing the correct answer and giving a correct answer, are two different things

Reply: (edit)on the back of your bt home hub there is a white button after you enter the key on the upstairs computer press that button and hold for 3 seconds lights will flash on the hubs face and the computer can then get accses to recive a network address white button is a security feature that stops people from just conecting to your hub button tells the router to recive incoming conections rob
