Ok, I have a belkin wireless cable/dsl router. I have several computers connected and the router randomly loses connection and requires restarting. I have to un-plug it, i can't even get into the web setup to restart it from there. It happens about 4 times weekly. No help from tech support. All computers use built in DHCP server. Router is setup correctly and when restarted works fine until the next "crash". Only serious inquires please, thanks in advance.

I had the same problem, but was getting dropped every ten minutes. Try going to Belkin's website and see if they have an update for your router. That solved my problem in just a few minutes.

What OS are you using? I am using w2kpro, w98se and linux. I had the same problem and the Belkin people assisted me promptly. Te gave me the next procedure:
"Please note that disconnection from the router could be an issue related to the network card on the computer. In order to rectify this, the speed of the card needs to be changed. Please follow the steps given below in order to do the same:
1.Right click on "My Computer" -> Properties -> Hardware -> Device Manager.
2.Click on the "+" sign next to "Network Adapters", right click no the Ethernet adapter listed there and click on Properties -> Advanced. Please change the Link speed/duplex mode to the value "10 Half".If the issue persists, please update the drivers for the Ethernet card. This should resolve the issue."
Try and good luck

I had exactly the same problem with Belkin, using WPA-PSK security. It turns out it's not a Belkin-specific problem, but a WinXP/WPA problem. Good news is, it is *very* easily fixed, by adding one value to the registry. See here http://www.dslreports.com/forum/remark,8652639~mode=flat~days=9999~start=80 for details of how to add the value (either via .reg file, or manually). Once added, reboot your WinXP system for it to take effect.
This solved my problem completely.
