It only goes through your isp in that your home computer is using your isp to connect to the Internet.
Does your business currently have a VPN server up and running? Also, there are two major VPN schemas (may be using the the wrong word.) One Is where you have two servers (end points) that you run a VPN ipsec tunnel server-to-server and the second one I believe is called pptp. This is like having a VPN client installed on your workstation at home and connecting to and logging in to a VPN server at work with an individual account.
