I just have a couple basic questions about networking 2 computers together, and sharing a printer.

Here is the setup. There are two computers both new systems running Windows XP conneted directly with network cable.

The main pc is "Computer A". All I need to do is share a few folders with "Computer B" and share a printer that is connected and installed on "Computer A". I would appreciate any help.

Click start > My network places. You will see an icon on the left side to set up a home network. Follow the directions on the wizard and at the end choose the option to save to a floppy. Take this floppy and run it on the other computer and you should be good to go. To share a specific folder you right click on the folder, choose sharing and click to share the folder.
