I have two pc's both running 98se and they are linked together with a Lynksys befsr41 router. The pc's go from their eithernet cards to the router and the router into my cable modem. What i was wanting was a network with full file sharing and internet sharing. What i got was was exactly that but heres my problem. When i turn on both pc's and let them boot all the way up i only have internet sharing between the two,and no network. What i must do to gain access to the network is click start-logoff-yes then that pc can see the network but not access it.Then i must do the same to the other pc to to have full network access between the two pc's.Now heres the real weird part if i am at the point where i am not logged on to the network (like after a restart) and i install a game i can see it and play just fine but when i click start-logoff-yes and log on to the network the game i just installed is gone,no listing for it in the programs menu and no desktop icon. The same thing happens on the other pc.Its almost like i have 2 users per pc, but when i check users within control panel there are none listed. All i want is to be able to log on to an existing network automatically after a restart or shutdown. And it would be nice to not have to install programs twice ON BOTH MACHINES.Am i asking for too much here? or is there a solution?

P.S.
i have tried all the primary network logon choices.

Help to solve this problem would be greatly appreciated.

Thank You
Darin :)
