Hello, I have an Asus RT-N53 router, and I can login to it fine, but it won't logout. When I click the Logout button, it will say I logged out successfully, but I can enter the router's IP and go right through without being asked for a password.

Did you tell the browser to remember the password? How do you know when a politician is lying? His mouth is moving.
I had the same problem once & I'm trying to remember how I solved it. In the meantime, clear the browser cache & cookies. How do you know when a politician is lying? His mouth is moving.
I cleared the cache and cookies, but it is still doing the same thing. I actually unplugged the router for a couple of hours, but it is still doing this.
I just tried it with my Cisco/Linksys router using Firefox & the same thing happened. It asked for a password the first time but not the second. Then I tried it with Internet Explorer & it asked for the password the second time. Then I went back to Firefox & it didn't ask for a password. If I wait long enough, Firefox will ask me again. That tells me that there is a browser setting somewhere. I'll look for it later.

As a test, I would login, then logout. I would then shut the browser off and restart it and the try logging into the router's admin interface again. You should be required to reenter credentials in this case. Even if you have cookies killed, I've noticed with some SOHO equipment if you don't close the browser session, you won't be prompted use credentials again.

I am the captain of my soul.***William Henley***
