Hi,

I'm trying to set up an ad-hoc wireless network between my laptop and PC. I've managed to set up the network, however, I can't seem to share files between the two. I've enabled sharing on the files/folders I want to share, but to no avail. I also want to share my internet connection (dial-up), however I don't have a clue on how to do this. Can anyone please give me a crash course in setting this all up or give me a good link to a site that explains it all in simple terms. I've tried the Microsoft website section on ad-hoc networking. BTW: I'm using XP Home on the laptop and XP Pro on the PC.

Have you seen this (microsoft) troubleshooting page?

Are you using the "home and small office network" wizard? If so, one of the first questions has to do with internet sharing. Think you want the 1st (ICS).
