Whew!

Are you sure you don't want to hire a professional who knows what their doing to set this server up for you? It probably isn't a bad idea and would likely lead to less problems.

Having said that...

1) It depends on the controller but you will want to configure it for a RAID 1

2) Not sure what you mean exactly so I'm assuming you mean the difference between the difference RAID levels. Answer: Ton's of info on the web. Use google and do some searching/reading.

3) RAID 0 offers no redundancy. RAID 1 is the best way to go if you only have two HDD's.

4) RAID 1

5) There should be a CD included with the IBM server that you can use to update the motherboard BIOS, RAID controller BIOS and setup your RAID. Once done, the same CD will help you to configure the OS installation and walk you through it. It's fairly idiot proof, but again, I HIGHLY recommend you hire a professional to do this for you. I can't stress this enough.

On another note: typing in all caps is the internet equivalent of YELLING so check your caps lock key before you begin typing.

Thanks curt R for all u r suggestion.

But my question still unsolved,(ya i know that prob. is from my side)

I wants to know the difference between
The Hdd comes with the IBM server and the HDD HOT Swapable & is it possible to use this different HDD as a one RAID array.

2)Is it possible to create logical drive after installation of os(just like in win200 we create a logical drive after installation)

3)I wants to know the differnce between normal RAID i.e. 0,1,1E,5 & RAID 5E,00,1E0,50. & also what the IBM RAID.

I know that it is good to install server by professionals but i am also working in the same field as h/w Engg. But its my first time to install a server with RAID configuration, my seniors also help me in this installation but from my side i want some clear idea.

So,it will be great if you help me.
Sorry for all the mistakes i was made in last message & one again THANKS.

1) Yes

2) Hot Swappable means, you can remove/replace the disk without powering the server down. From the sounds of it, the other one is not hot swappable. As long as both are plugged into the RAID controller, you should be able to create a RAID with them. NOTE: It's recommended you use two hot swappable drives for your RAID as compared to only one. If the one that isn't hot swappable fails, you have to shutdown your server to replace it.

3) http://www.webopedia.com/TERM/R/RAID.html

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/RAID

This from a quick google search of "RAID". There were several pages of links so if you still need more info.....search and read.
