Hi all, i have Airport Base station at home. and its providing wireless signal all over the house. in the upper floor , i can't get the signal and i have a linsys wrt54g and DWL-G730AP on the side, thought of using them, cause none of them work as a repeater or WDS, what i did is made the D-Link connect to the wireless network as client AP, and connect it through a cable to the linksys which is in the upper floor, and the linksys working as AP. i connect the D-Link to my laptop , and turn off the wireless, i would be able to ping the dlink , ping the wireless router broadcasting wireless signal in the house. but i couldn't ping yahoo.com is there any configuration i should do in the airport base station , or the D-Link and i missed ? thanks

You need to add a 'access point', not another wireless router. You would need to implement RIP if your using multiple routers, and it would not be as effective as just adding another access point. However, you should look at moving your wireless router to a different location. You could end up solving your problem just by finding a more 'central' location.
