Ok so I was remoting into my home computer using UVNC, and I was on AIM on my home computer. I wanted to launch firefox/ie on my home computer so that I could mapquest something but neither of them worked. They launched and showed windows like I had no internet connection. I obviously do because i'm on AIM and remoting into my home computer

see what it does when you are home. could be you are spyware infected and since you vnced and aimed you didn't have anymore bandwidth available to fulfull your ie/firefox request. Could also have something to do with a software firewall config.
Imagine the power if you knew how to internet search
