Advice on cables

We currently have CAT5 UTP patch cable connecting the computer to our router ran through our house for networking. Recently we've had to move a computer in one of the rooms and the cable will no longer reach it.
I'm guessing to add another cable to cover the distance I need: 1 - RJ45 Coupler 1 - Another CAT5 UTP patch cable, just like the one that is currently ran
Is this correct? Do I need a specific type of RJ45 coupler, as in, do they make crossover/straight thru couplers?

The maximum length for Cat5 cable is 100 m (approx 380 ft). Couplers are cheap and can be purchased at most any computer store (I wouldn't bother with ebay for a coupler).
You don't need any special kind as you're using a straight through cable.
