hi everyone, i installed the AS2000 as the Domain Controller and thi IP address is 192.168.0.1 , SNet 255.255.255.0 i have 4 clients and the IP i raise up the last # by 1 digit, Subnetmask is the same as the server. here is the problem clients take about 5 minz to login the server. clients are XP O/S i had the NT Server4 was worked fine before what did i do wrong or missed ? thanks people

The primary DNS server for your clients need to point to the server (192.168.0.1). If you are using NAT to share the internet you'll have to set up DNS forwarding on the server to point to your ISPs DNS servers. It sounds as if your clients are first going to the ISP for DNS resolution and when that fails they then see your server.

so the server and client have the same DNS address right ? ray
