I have just rolled over to ADSL2+ from ADSL1 1.5mb. I am using the same modem, same filters etc.
But since I have changed over to ADSL2+ my phone line has a lot of static and whenever I answer or hang up the phone the internet cuts out. I removed the filters and everything works fine but when I was on ADSL1 1.5 without filters I had the same problem as I am having with ADSL2+ with filters.
Hope that makes sense What does this mean ?
EDIT I tracked the cause but is weird. It appears my phone/fax is causing the issue but has never before with ADSL1 1.5. Is this normal?

This is a question for your provider. I highly recommend you contact your ISP's support people and/or your telephone company (I would assume they're one and the same, I know I get my ADSL from my Telco)
