ADSL with two computers?

We've got these two computers: a HP Vectra Pentium Pro/Windows 95C (64Mb RAM) and AMD Athlon 1500+/Windows 98SE (256Mb RAM). The Vectra PC is hooked to a Telewell TW-EA 501 ADSL-modem through a Realtek RTL8139 lan card. The Athlon PC has the same card. Is it possible to plug the Athlon's card to the modem too and gain access to the internet? The modem has four lan ports. Is it that simple? The computers aren't in a home network together. The machines are far from each other, how long ethernet cables are available?

According to the specs you can have multiple PC's attached:

The recommended maximum is 30Metres for Cat5 RJ45 Cable.

Not to pick knits but the maximum cable length for Cat5 (e, 6 etc) is 100 metres. That's approx 380 feet. Personally, I find if you go over 90 m then attenuation begins to cause problems so I avoid exceeding 90 m whenever possible.
