Recently got Cable Broadband from telewest...used to get broadband through the phoneline but now it obviously comes through the cable modem. Since we're on a LAN in our flat we need to connect through a router but only one person seems to be able to connect to the net at any one time.
The router has 4 ports for our pc's (ethernet) and one for the net connection (ADSL port).... but the Cable modem only has an ethernet connection.
Is there a cable that we could run from the modems ethernet port to the routers adsl port or will we need to buy a new Cable Broadband router ?

Not sure what you mean by adsl port. I have cable at home and dsl at work. I use nearly the same model of Netgear on both. Both connect via rj45. Are you referring to a USB adsl port? If so you can buy a rj45 to usb connector. Google it on the web.
