Reply: (edit)If it is a modem/router combination box then it should be new enough that it will do 2Mb on DSL (if it is a DSL broadband modem) and 10Mb/2Mb or so if it is a Cable modem. The exact specifications depend on the exact model and manufacturing level of the modem, which you have not given a clue about. But the box is not the question. The question is, does the ISP support the faster service on you connection interface and do they support it on your modem? Only they can provide the answer, unless you are expecting someone to track down where you live, determine what type of broadband service you have and who your ISP is and then call them for you.
