i want to ask abt ADSL 1500/512 (router) i assume that 512 is the speed....but what is 1500 ?

When you see numbers like that in relation to ADSL 1500 usually means the download speed and 512 is the upload speed in kbs. ADSL always had a different upload and download speed. Thats the the A stands for Asynchronous.
However thats got nothing to do with the router, most of which are capable off 8 Mbs.
