Hi Guys,
I have a network using a 4 port Linksys (wired) BEFS41 Router with 4 PCs hooked up.All PCs access the internet and see each other.
I would like to expand the network adding 3 more PCs across the room (approx 50 feet).
I bought a wireless Linksys WRT54G Router.

QUESTION.
Can I add the wireless router (leaving the Wired Router in place) to add three wireless notebooks. The wureless router has a built in "access-point"

The clean and simple way would be to substitute the new wireless for the old wired. Everything you intend to use can be connected to the wireless thus eliminating one complete set of possible problems. It may be that the wired router can function as a switch only and could be used downstream from the wireless for further expansion if needed. In any case, make the wireless router the access point to the WAN.
