I have a wireless network using a Linksys WAP/router. I don't get a great signal in some areas of my house, so a friend suggested adding a second WAP, letting the first WAP act as the DHCP server (a "bridge"). I can't get the 2nd WAP to connect to the network. Anyone know where I can get help on this? Thanks

Your friend is right you do need to "bridge" one of the units, but setting a unit to "bridge" does not mean setting it to DHCP server. Most, if not all, WAPs do not have "bridge" capability built-in. "bridge" is a setting for one AP to talk to another AP wirelessly, else they act individually so they do not interfere with each others signalling. You'll have to check your user guide to your Linksys. If it doesn't say anything about a bridge it's most likely it doesn't have that capability.
