I recently won a free computer in a raffle and have been trying to get running 100% ever since. So far this forum has helped me clean install Windows XP (thanks to trvlr) and install missing audio, video and ethernet drivers (thanks to Razor2.3). My final challenge is to establish a working internet connection.

The computer says I have "limited or no connectivity" when I connect the ethernet cable. I've gone to Start->Run->Cmd and tried to ping www.yahoo.com with no success. Here's a picture of what I get when using the "ipconfig /all" command.

I'm not quite sure what to do from here. I will be checking this thread constantly. All suggestions will be tested and I will respond to every reply I receive.

HI again,
appearantly your problem is that u have to reconfigure your tcp/ip, so go to start menu and click "run" and type "cmd" and then type inside the command prompt the following:
ipconfig /flushdns
ipconfig /realease
ipconfig /renew
and make sure that u have set up the internet adapter and installed its driver correctly,
please let me know what happens when u try out this way.
