Hi,
I have set up roaming profiles on my server (server5) but am having problems updating to profile.

The user (room10) was running in AD and synching to server3, then we introduced server5, linked it to AD and deleted the original room10 user. I then added a new one, and set the profile path to \\server5\PROFILES\room10 (my profiles share).

I set the permissions for both \\server5\PROFILES and \\server5\PROFILES\room10 to have domain users have full access, and room10 as the owner (also with full access) for debugging purposes.

The user can log in fine and it creates a local profile, however when I log off, it gives me the error "Windows cannot update your roaming profile. Possible causes of this error include network problems or insufficient privilages.... Access Denied"

Does anyone know where the problem might lay (I am pretty new to AD).

Thanks,
Alex

Just a quick update, I cannot create files on the \\server5\PROFILES\room10 folder either, so I am assuming it is a permissions problem rather then an AD problem.
