Hello,
Im having a bit of trouble with my wireless network connection. I had the same problem a few months ago and managed to fix it but I can’t remember how. When my internal network card finds the network it connects but then says 'Acquiring Network Address' and gets no further. I remember it had something to do with IP addresses but I can’t remember what or how to change it.
Here is some screen caps to help describe the problem;

Have you tried static IP adresses? Where is the router in relation to the PC? I heard a customer in a store tell the employee 11 miles away when he asked him that question.

Are you able to log into the router admin from a wired PC? Possibly something in the router settings has changed and resetting that might solve the issue.
I used to have a signature but it disappeared and I just couldn't be bothered writing another so please feel free to ingore this.

this is likely due to the fact that the DHCP client service is turned off.
Run > services.msc
find it, and right click it. choose start.
