I have an ACER Aspire 5000 laptop with built in Broadcom Wireless card. I was surfing the internet one day when the computer was no longer able to receive a wireless signal. I noticed a radio signal with an x through it so I clicked on it and hit enable. It told me that it could not enable "The radio on your 802.11 network adapter is still disabled, use the hardware radio control switch to enable it". I really hope someone can help me. I have not been able to find help anywhere. Thanks to all!!

You must have flipped the radio control switch without knowing what it was for like the guy HERE did. It's easy to flip the radio back on again.
