I have a network at home....2 PCs and one laptop...everything is fine.....the problem is....i cant access my router.
i used the telnet option..then it requires for the password....i typed the password..but it is not accessing.
another way...i used the browser to try to access my router...but a page appears telling me that this site is BLOCKED BY THE ISP. (i live in a country where the internet is supervised by the government)..
is there is any solution...any key sequences to break the password..and enter the router ?
thank alot.

Open a command prompt window and type the following command:
ipconfig /all
The Default Gatewayaddress is the one you want to put in the Address (URL) field of your web browser in order to connect to the router.

that what i have already done......but it gives me a blocked page by ISP.
does anyone have an idea !?

The address of you router should be one of the Internet private address range - probably beginning with the numbers 192.168.xxx.xxx or in some rare cases 10.0.xxx.xxx
There is no way you ISP can block these address as they do not go out over the Internet. They are address reserved for Local Networks. You should still be able to address your router even if you are not connected to the Internet.
If you do not have one of these numbers then your router is configured incorrectly. There should be a reset button on the router somewhere. If you press this and hold if for a few seconds. Wait till it reconfigures itself then reboot the computer and and do the ipconfig /all thing again.
What is the address that you get for the gateway address?
Stuart

oh ...now it works......
the address was 10.0.0.2.....i disabled the proxy of the ISP from the broswer options..and it worked...thankx
