Many ways. One is VNC which is freeware. Comes in several flavors - I am using TightVNC. If you don't have a fixed IP address at the store, then you need Dynamic DNS. This is also avaiable for free. Just google on dyamic dns or try dyndns.org.

You might even be able to do with with XP's remote desktop - not sure on the home edition....

I would consider a vpn on top of your remote control app for security reasons.

the linksys wrv54g runs about $150 and has a software vpn client included.

your topology would be

Home-Net (with pc running the software client)

*router (requred for multiple pc access only)
HOME ADSL Modem
HOME ISP
INTERNET
WORK ISP
WORK ADSL MODEM
WRV54G
WORK SWITCH
WORK PC'S

Ok peter.
I have signed up for a dynamic dns, I loaded tight vnc, but now I'm stuck. How do I get my two XP home systems, one at store and one at home to connect.
I have 3 systems at home one xp home, one xp pro and one win 2000. I can get a link to them from client to server via VNC, but how do I get it set up for store to home?

OK - say your store dynamic dns name is mystore.dyn.org. You install VNC on that machine, and start the server service. Of course you have dynamic DNS update software running on the store computer also.

From home start the vnc client and connect to mystore.dyn.org. That's it.

You might want to get a firewall in place so as to at least limit access to the store machine to one port for VNC.
