Specs: Windows XP
i am using windows xp sp3.
i am connected in local network.

in my system there is a shared folder.

i have another system connected in public network.

how to access that shared folder from public ip system(public network system)?

you would load a program like logmein, hamachi or gotomypc on both and use the software to access the shared folder.

Hello, wanderer is correct in that statement, but if you are a little more advanced as far as networking. I would use HFS other wise know as HTTP File Server acts pretty much just like a website, easty to set up. If your router DDNS then your good to go and you can encrypt and password protect anything you can share it anywhere u have internet access ever a mobile phone.
