What do you mean by "remote access"?

Being able to logon to the router via the internet or your business network via the router?

Imagine the power if you knew how to internet search

You might be able to access it from the public ip. I would disable that if so.
Use remote desktop to an in house system and then connect to the switch on the private ip.

I read it wrong and answer it wrong too. So get off my case you goober.

If you want to access the router from Internet, check on the router admin page, and look for remote router access and configure it. After that you should be able to access the router using its public IP. However I don't recommend this access method as somebody might brute force cracking the router admin username/password or hack the router from Internet.

Maybe this is what you need:

Remote Desktop Connection from Internet

Hope helps..
