In my office we have a network running Windows 2000 and about 10 wired computers. I would like to plug in an access point/router to one of our lan jacks upstairs. Which one do I need? The DSL & Firewall & Server are all downstairs. We would like to have wireless internet access for our guests upstairs, but not access to our network.

I would go with a wireless router then. since it divides the private network from your office network. If, though, your guests would happen to know your IP address range for your office network they could gain somewhat access to it. You might want to hook up the additional router, for your guests to gain access to the internet, directly to the internet this would cut them off of the office network.
