I was wondering, I do have a network setup between my new laptop and desktop. I was wondering if there is a way to network excel onto my laptop. Thanks

No, Excel along with all other MS Office applications needs to be installed on the computer it is running on.

You can share Excel files over the network.

What you can do with MS Office though providing you have the installation disk is install MS Office on a desktop and a laptop providing both computers are owned by you and only one is used a time.

You might consider Remote desktop or other display forwarding apps.

You might look at OpenOffice. It provides a way to use many of the MS products. You always have a way to save MS files in other formats that comply with opensourced products.

I read it wrong and answer it wrong too. So get off my case you goober.

Also, if you bought a retail copy of Excel/Office, you should be legally able to install Office on the laptop as well.
