Hi networking ppl !! Could some1 please tell me of and application which can be used in my windows NT4 server that allows me to check the application, service packs, software, running in my client computers. i got a NT4 server running DHCP and 15 computers with Dynamic Ip addresses.
As i said i am really looking for a software, application or whatever, taht can give me information about programs, applications, service packs, running in my client computer. I did install SNMP, but it just give me hardware and stuff. Please if anyone knows about a web site that i can get what i am looking for ..ill be pleased to hear that soon. Thanx.

Go to www.gritware.com This is a wonderful auditing tool and it does not cost that much. I put this in the users script and it audits whenever I want the software, hardware, os, mem,ect...ext...

Don't know if its detailed enough - but have a look at pstools (www.sysinternals.com). These are freeware and include psinfo - which gives information of the type you want (but as I said, don't know if enough) and psexec - which will let you run processes remotely (so you can easily run psinfo on all machines from the server).
