My questions is:

I just got an extra IP address for my cable connection. My understanding is that I hook up the cable modem to the hub with a crossover cable. Then, I have a wireless D Link router for 1 computer - so I hook that up to the hub. My computer is hooked up to the hub as well - but not the router. The Cable modem should be able to pull the 2 IP addresses. I assigned 1 IP to the router as static. Then my computer set on static as well with the other IP address. When all this was setup - none of it can pull the internet. Any suggetions? And by the way - The point of the 2 IP's by the way is we can't play on the internet playing the same game using the same ip. Thanx in advance!
