I can't play anything thatz streaming..with my wmp11(pci wireless card) on a BEFW11S4 dsl/cable wireless router. Its connected to the router using the infrastructure mode...can browse the web, allows FTP...but does not play anything thats streaming...mp3s, .wmv,.wma,.rm ,.ram nothing seems to work, it starts to play and then stalls(keeps buffering)...Does anyone know whats goin on? Thanks in advance. More info:- I think if I use the soundcard the wirless network card quits to work. I'm not even able to browse the net when I listen to music. So when music starts to play (streaming video/audio) the connection stalls. I checked the IRQ numbers soundcard 17 wireless card 18 There is no conflict, still problems...

Check memory addresses. It's unlikely, but they may be overlapped. I would try completely removing the hardware from the computer, if possible. Start by removing devices from the device manager, then pulling the cards and rebooting. If all works (aside from the services explicitly supported by those cards), then turn off the machine, and put in one card at a time, rebooting after each and reinstalling the software. Also, see if you can get the newest drivers from the manufacturer's websites. Kerry

Just wondering. How did you get IRQ 17 & 18? Unless they added another interupt controller while I was sleeping, IRQ's only go from 0 to 15.
