I'm trying to install 3Com 905c-TX nic under Win95. I've updated drivers and use 3Coms diagnostic program.

I can connect to the network to the extent of getting DHCP configuration data. I can ping 127.0.0.1 successfully but not DHCP server or any other host in network.

Diagnostic programs indicate both NIC and network connectivity is normal except that statistics show a packets received overrun which is 10 times larger than the packets received.

Packets Received 112
Packets Transmitted 306
Received Overrun 1212

Any thoughts?

Gerry

I understand you have two NIC installed.

Use the dos-config-utility, and choose installation.
You have to configure both cards with different addresses and irq's.

The config-utility shall detect both your cards, and set this automatically.
