hi

I have a small existing 2 pc network with a cross over cable connected.
If i want to connect one more pc to this network, what is the best method?
I have a IBM stackable 16 port ethernet hub.
Can i connect cat5 cable from hub to nic cards of each pc? will this make network between all 3 pc's?

regards
Suriya

Yes it will. Just remember, when you're not connecting directly from one NIC to another, you want to use regular network cables.

The "best" way is to pick up a router and run all your PCs off this as clients. For a 2-3 PC network ICS works OK but once you start adding more PCs, printers, scanners, etc. it's easier to work with a router.
