HELP! I set up a small 2 computer network with an ethernet crossover cable and it worked great. Then I installed a second NIC on one computer for DSL. Now DSL works on that computer but the network is not working. The workgroup and each computer are seen on each respective computer but you cant see the other computer on both. I think (dangerous) by reading that the IP address's of the TCP/IP are the culprit. Should I just assign the LAN NIC's a 192.0.0.1 and 192.0.0.2 address and leave the one DSL NIC alone? Is this the problem? Thought and advice are needed.
