2k to xp file sharing

i have a laptop using winxp professional, and it can connect to my computer just fine. when i go to connect using the 2k computer to the xp computer it says user restrictions. i can ping the computer from the 2k to the xp just fine, they both are on the same workgroup, and they both are logged in as administrator. any ideas?

You need to build an account on the Win2k machine for the XP machine to use.

do you mean creating an account on the xp machine? because the xp machine can access the 2k computer just fine.
