I have an 2700HG-E Gateway but I can't find how to enable ports 5631 and 5632 so I can setup pc anywhere.

Jennifer. You have helped me plenty of times in the past. Bear with us for a moment. the 2700HG-E was purchased by Telus (Canadian ISP (Telco)) without a firmware. Telus then flashed their own firmware. Yes, they #$%^#$% it up as usual. (They also screwed the Siemens SE567, some cannot port forward at all!)

Tboy. The router will automatically assign your computer the routers incoming IP address. This can play havoc with your home network and shared drives if you have them.
