I have a Belkin desktop card as well as a usb antenna. Is it possible for me to connect to 2 unsecured wireless networks? If I connected to 2 would my connection speeds raise? Currently I have both device connected to the same network, am I wasteing my time or moving a little faster? Both show connected status,as well a packets exchanged.

Sorry, No.
Only one 'working' connection can be connected to. Each browser on your pc may use only ONE connection, but separate browsers can use separate connections. E.g Internet Explorer uses Wireless 1 and Opera 8.0 uses Wireless 2 (or vice-versa). Connecting to two or more networks will not increase your connection speed.
What is possible, may not be better than what we already have.
