Currently I am using a cable modem and a Linksys broadband router and one desktop is connected to the internet. I'm trying to get my laptop online via wireless router (Netgear)but I'm unsure how to connect everything smoothly. My phone service is Vonage, so I have the broadband router. Any step by step suggestions???
Since you already had Linksys broadband router that acts as a network router, you can just connect your wireless router to this broadband router using crossover cable, then configure this wireless router as access point only. Finally you can access the Internet via this wireless access point wirelessly.
