I have 2 computers that are using 2 different ISPs. What I want to do is to merge those 2 computers but still be able to use both ISPs so that I can run specific softwares separate on another NIC. How is this possible?

The only way you can use two ISPs on the same computer is to disable one and use the other. You cannot use both at the same time.
Stuart

You can use two. Either set up a bsd box or buy an embedded device to allow you to use two isp's.
I put a post about that about 5 months ago. Several how-to's using a bsd based machine and several companies make a device to do just that.I read it wrong and answer it wrong too. So get off my case you goober.

Stuart is in error; you can use both ISP connections, but you can't specify which connection each application will use.
You need to get a dual WAN router which can be connfigured to use the connections to increase bandwidth, or for aoutomatic failover and load balancing.
I have not used one myself so I can't make a recommendation for any specific brand/model, but here are a couple links from a google search.

I remember when dial up was only available to home users. There used to be a software to run 2 lines and dial up to both and split the connections on them. It would download different items on each webpage via different isps at the same time so it would be like having 2x the speed. This method was called "shotgunning". Maybe try googling it and see if they still have that same sort of software.

if out the address that the software are tring to access and have the default router reroute it to the right isp. Of course you will need to routers to do this. On router for each ISP the default gateway will router the address to the other router if the software is tring to access a cerent address.
its not that I am afraid to die, I just don't want to be there when It happens !
